Cups of LOVE

Valentine's Day is sneaking up on us pretty quickly and after scouring pinterest for weeks looking for the perfect Valentine's for my little stud to hand out in class... I finally gave up! There were some super awesome ideas, but I just couldn't get myself to commit to any of them. I was really on the hunt for something NON-CANDY, but also not too popular that some of the other moms might have decided to  copy create it as well. Here were a few of my favorites:

So here is what I finally came up with:) I have to say I totally LOVE THEM!!!!

I purchased a case of tumblers from the Dollar Tree in assorted colors and used my Silhouette to vinyl them with his classmate's names. But of course nothing makes a cute Valentine quite like a photo of my special little man! I knew right away I would use the chalkboard because... how do I put this....
 I'm a little obsessed:)

We use it for EVERYTHING!!! but anyway.... for those of you that don't know one of my FAVORITE movies of all times is Hope Floats!!!! (with Sandra Bullock) I have so many favorite lines from that movie but I have to say one of my absolute favorites is when Bernice tells her Grandma she loves her and the grandma's response is "... My cup runneth over." tear***sigh**** I love LOVE:)

Okay I'll stop rambling now.... Any who!!! I ordered prints of the picture on Walmart's website in 4x6 and put them inside of the cups. They were a tiny bit too tall so I had to trim them with my "fancy" scrap booking scissors (also from the Dollar Tree) and then they went right in. Don't they make the whole thing wayyy cuter?  It's so easy to make cute Valentine's when you have such a cute kid:)

I am so excited for Jonathon to take his "Cups of Love" into school next week!!!!
and he can't wait to give them to all of his friends. What do you think?

Oh and just for giggles...check out this sweet pic:)
"No more pictures Mommy... I want to go play HOCKEY" ... that's my boy:)
